How good it is, and how wonderful it is when we understand the deep meaning of this word of the Lord: "And the Lord God said, It is not good for man to be alone:...” (Genesis 2:18a). For understanding this word is how to understand the essence of life, and the continuity of man's life that depended on this moment of creation to become one body by two, and man received this body as a gift as the greatest individual blessing of the Lord God.
And what can we grasp with this word, man not being alone? We can observe by the expression of the greatness of the word that the meaning goes far beyond the written letter. When we can understand the depth of the word of the Lord God, and what it means with man not to be alone, we will achieve the meaning of the revelation of the greatness of the procreation of the human being in a body in the creative work of the Lord God.
And with this word of the Lord “It is not good for man to be alone” We can see the perfection of the creative work of the Lord God. And so we will clearly understand that the design of man's creation in body would only be complete and perfected when the body was two. And we can also be certain that the time of the Lord God would only be complete and perfected for us men, when there was the complete act of creating a body: “... I will make him an adjutor who is as before him.” (Genesis 2:18b).
This wonderful act of the Lord God in creating the woman “I will make you an advocate” allowed man to be one body by two, as reported in the previous chapter. And also with this statement of the word above the Lord God our creator reveals his desire and design to create a “adjutora” for the man Adam. This act of creation was already projected in eternity, even though for a time it was not revealed to the man Adam who was still as the word shows, this word of the Lord God was already part of his creative work.
It is important that we understand that the Lord God manifests confirmation of the word creation of a “adjutora“ moments before a task the Lord assigned to the man Adam who was still alone at this time. The man Adam did not even know the possibility of a woman’s existence, and he did not miss one either. “adjutora” and this revealed and expressed clearly this word of the Lord God. For the Lord said to the male man I will make one “adjutora” without him knowing, and also without the man asking for the woman, for he did not even miss her.
The Lord God before bringing to the animals, and entrusting Adam man with the task of naming the animals already knew that the male man by receiving before him all the animals of his creation, and by conducting this task to see what he would call them to observe that all came in male and female couples. And Adam giving them names would realize that he himself was alone, and without a companion: "And Adam named all the cattle, and the birds of the heavens, and all the beasts of the field; but for man it was not an adjutant that was as before him. ” (Genesis 2: 20b).
And really the man Adam male only realized that he was only after naming all animals so says the word, “but for man she was not adjutant”, and the word shows this clearly in the verse above right after giving the names to the animals. But as the Lord God was mentioned had already anticipated for him Adam who would give him an advocate.
This same word was also revealed by the Lord God to Adam before he was called to name the animals. Perhaps Adam had not understood this word of the Lord, but since everything is perfect in the work of the Lord God, then neither would it be necessary. Adam showed his loneliness to the Lord, for the Lord God anticipated, saying, “And the Lord God said, It is not good for man to be alone;...”.
The whole design of the Lord God is perfect nothing needs to be added to it, and nothing will also be taken from it without the sovereign will of the Lord God. And in this also the Lord showed that HE is in control, and also in the order of all creation, because he anticipated the feeling of the man Adam gave him a woman, for the Lord God had already foreseen that he would feel alone and without companion, “It is not good for man to be alone”, and gave him a woman blessing them with the perfect marriage as mentioned in the previous chapter “I will make you one adjutora”, thus completing his wonderful creative work.
