Man Adam through gluttony and wrong desire for food altered God's design in relation to the first principle for which he was created, and as mentioned earlier three were to the causes of desire for food: “was good to eat”, “pleased to the eyes”, “desirable to give understanding”.
God did not give up his main project that is to have man in his presence to worship him in spirit and in truth, a reason for which man was created. And this is what we must be able to accept and not doubt in our hearts and in our minds, to hold this truth, that our soul belongs to God, and that without the Lord Jesus as our savior nothing would be more valuable.
So that man’s life could continue to be viable the Lord God in eternity along with his son Jesus and his Holy Spirit determined a new project to save and rescue the man who must confess Jesus and in his spirit believing that his image and likeness was created as he was addressed with emphasis in the first chapter of this book: “In this you shall know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is of God;” (1 John 4:2).
And this is what the patriarchs recognized and accepted, and for this they also succeeded in continuing their survival, and so the patriarchal generations who understood and applied the teachings that Adam received from the Lord God managed to survive to Noah, for they confessed that: “ Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is of God;”All the patriarch who confessed survived, and “is of God”For this patriarch sacrificed burnt offerings unto the Lord God, and applied it daily in his life by believing in the coming of the Lord Jesus.
