With man's general corruption Adam, every man's life that did evil became a burden in the heart of the Lord God: “ And the Lord saw that man's wickedness had multiplied upon the earth,... And he weighed it in his heart. ” (Genesis 6:5a, 6b).
Evil men no longer entered the presence of the Lord God and continually displeased the Lord in all his acts. They did not seek Yahweh with the sacrifice of the burnt offering as was Abel's sacrifice. All the attitudes of man Adam were directed to his fleshly desire: “... all the imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only continually evil. ” (Genesis 6:5b).
These attitudes and the way of living could never please the Lord; “For the inclination of the flesh is enmity against God: “... Therefore, those in the flesh cannot please God. ” (Romans 8:7a, 8).
Thus the condemnation of man's life was determined: “ And the Lord said, I will destroy from the face of the earth the man I created, For all flesh had corrupted its way upon the earth. ” (Genesis 6: 7a, 12b). There was no other possibility for man, the judgment of the Lord God was already determined in those early days of civilization: "For if ye live according to the flesh, ye shall die; ...” (Romans 8:13a).
Everything was done by disobedience of the teachings given by the Lord God to Adam by his nourishment of body and soul by the tree of life. Man’s greatest struggle is the lust of his flesh for the flesh, and against the Holy Spirit of the Lord God: “For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and they oppose one or another: lest ye do what ye will. ” (Galatians 5:17). Always, but always in the life of man there will be this fierce struggle against the flesh, we talked about it widely in the previous chapter.
But fortunately today’s Adam man can understand this more easily and quickly. All mankind knows that the Lord Jesus fulfilled his plan of salvation, and that everything was perfected by the last and perfect sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. The greatest asset of mankind to overcome the last and greatest battle against man's general corruption are the teachings of salvation that are within reach of all through all technology and the dissemination of the science of communication that comes to be the greatest ally to convey the truth that is the Lord Jesus Christ. However, we must watch and be constantly alert, because at the same time it is the same technology by the science of communication transmit evil, as we see in the word:
“Do not love the world, nor what is in the world. If anyone loves the world, his father's love is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but of the world. And the world passeth away, and his lust: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. ” (I John 2:15-17)
In this way everything that is science and communication technology also offers to everyone who uses it today, must be looked at through one and only powerful filter that exists to clean and purify. All information of mankind should be looked through the Lord Jesus Christ.
The world in which man lives today continues to corrupt itself as in Noah’s day. But the degradation of mankind we are witnessing today is at the worst levels that humanity has ever experienced. We cannot and should not want to love and live in a world that offers, and agrees with the pride and lust of the desires of the flesh.
Every man Adam knows that his spirit (heart) contends with the flesh, and that his desire is often inclined toward the flesh. But for the man Adam there is only one answer in whom to seek, and he knows and knows very well the answer of whom he should seek. Jesus!
But what man Adam must understand, but that by the hardness of the heart he often does not even want to understand and accept is that today and now there is still a possibility to receive the truth. Man Adam must accept that he alone does the will of God in obedience to his word which is the Lord Jesus will be saved, and will remain forever, and eternally fact that has happened to the patriarchs.
Noah was the patriarch chosen by the Lord, he buried his father Lamech five years before the flood, and his grandfather Metusala before entering into the ark, and waited seven days for the waters of the flood already inside the ark: "Then the Lord said to Noah: Enter thou and all thy house into the ark: for I have seen thee righteous before me in this generation. For after seven days, I will make it rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights;..." (Genesis 7: 1, 4).
Both the old patriarchs, grandfather and father, offered burnt offerings to the Lord God. But it was up to the man The older Adam who stood on the face of all mankind offered burnt offerings to the Lord God until the ark was ready, and with all the beasts, as the Lord God commanded Noah to build according to the plan of the Lord God. Metusala was the last of the living descendants of Seth before the flood and whose names are mentioned in the line of the patriarchs, who with fear lived and received salvation from the Lord: “ And Lamech lived an hundred and eighty-two years; and he begat a son. And he called his name Noah, saying, He will comfort us about our works, and the work of our hands, because of the land which Yahweh has cursed. ” (Genesis 5: 28 and 29).
About the language of these patriarchs was the whole design of the Lord God to again rescue man from eternal death. These patriarchs were the only ones who understood this in these generations who lived in that period on earth, let us see, for none of Noah's brethren entered into the ark. **“You and your whole house in the ark.” *** The righteous Noah grandson of Metusala attained grace in the eyes of the Lord God, and condemned all who dwelt in the earth with the flood:
"But Noah found grace in the sight of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a righteous and upright man in his generations: Noah walked with God. And Noah begat three sons: Shem, Dog, and Japheth.” (Genesis 6:8,9,10).
Noah begat his children at this stage of his life, to teach them in the project he received from the Lord God.
