Before we understand the new covenant that the Lord made with Noah, that is, the second, for in the first covenant with Noah God condemned the world with the flood of waters, we need to understand how he acted and thought righteous Noah. This is important for reasoning to understand obedience achieved by the teachings of the Lord God. And the Lord God brought them out of the ark: “ Then God spoke to Noah, saying, Get out of the ark, you, your wife, and your children, and your children's wives with you. ” (Genesis 8: 15,16). That is, the Lord God said to all: “... and people abundantly the earth and fruitify and multiply upon the earth. ” (Genesis 8: 17b).

Obedience to the teachings of the Lord God is wonderful in the life of this patriarch Noah man. The word shows us that Noah's first attitude was, after the departure of all animals and families from the ark, to build an altar to the Lord God: **“He took of every clean beast, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.” ***

He is determined to serve the Lord God in this way was something that was already part of the life of this servant of the Lord, “Right in their generations” for the experiences of walking with the Lord God constantly perfected him in his daily life. The generation and birth of his sons, was also an experience for Noah, for it happened only from the beginning of the constriction of the ark, as already mentioned, this shows that the Lord God wanted to save Noah and his family, and he intended to repopulate the earth abundantly, “and people the earth abundantly.”

But obedience to the teachings of the Lord God brought to Noah the second covenant of human multiplication:

“And as it was in Noah’s day, so will the coming of the son of man also be. For as in the days before the flood they ate, drank, married, and gave in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and did not perceive, until the flood came, and brought them all; so shall the coming of the son of man be. ” (Matthew 24:37-39).

This covenant came with the first blessing of the Lord God upon his life and the life of his sons; “And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. ” (Genesis 9:1).

The Lord God of Noah was pleased with his offering, for the Lord wanted to speak to Noah, and an offering was offered for him when he came out of the ark. This was an attitude and a personal act of righteous Noah, and this very personal attitude shows how Noah was faithful to the teachings in obedience to the word of the Lord God: “ And the LORD smelled the sweet smell, and the LORD said in his heart, I will no longer curse the earth for man's sake: for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth, neither will I strike every living man any more, as I have done. ” (Genesis 8: 21).

These words demonstrate how the Lord knows the heart of man from his childhood, even knowing that Noah was righteous, God knew that man would sin again and have desires for the flesh, for he knew evil and was sinful. Every man is different, and men would be born again by the word, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. ”.

We would exist again as many. But would there be much Adam man like righteous Noah over mankind? But they would also be born again, and there would be many who would have more desires for the flesh, and this the Lord God was foreseeing. And anticipating this the Lord himself introduced new food, and increased man's food possibilities, for the satisfaction of his flesh. So that meat food could be allowed, and have its consumption allowed, but it could only happen under the permission of the word of the Lord God.
