Understanding in obedience the word that the Lord allows or does not allow to eat is the great secret that must be followed in the life of every man. If this new guidance on food were not introduced into the word by the Lord God Himself, it would never be allowed, and again man would be practicing with all his desire what the Lord Jesus explained to his disciples, read Matthew 24: 38. For this word implies that man’s degradation would have reached the limit of extremes, **“They ate, drank, married and married in marriage”. *** We can thus understand how he weighed the heart of the Lord God with the fleshly degradation of man by sex and flesh, it was all pure pleasure for the flesh, but in the worst limits that can be imagined by the mind of man.
With this man's hard heart the Lord God was accepting to live, until by the life of the righteous Noah who pleased the Lord, and obeyed his teachings, for “was straight in their generations” that is, the teachings of the Lord God from Adam to Seth have come to righteous Noah, and this fortunately for all mankind that today exists even for good or even evil in this life, for the Lord God always, by his long - suffering allows the continuity of his original design, that is, man his image and likeness in his presence. And now with Noah a new food would be introduced, that is, the Lord knowing the heart of man who “It's bad since childhood” He anticipated his carnal thoughts and allowed flesh to enter his diet,
“And it shall be your fear and your dread over all the beast of the earth, and over all the bird of the heavens: all that moveth upon the earth, and all the fish of the sea, are delivered into your hand. Whatever moves, which is living, will be for your food. I have given you everything like green grass.. But the flesh shall not eat with life, that is, with his blood." (Genesis 9:2-4).
“Your fear and your dread” You are guidance on these foods, it was clear and determined by the Lord God that He was allowing a new food, but man should do it with responsibility and fear, there could be no abuse of man's authority over every animal of the earth, birds of the sky, and fish of the sea.
“All that moves” Thus man came to receive by the mercy of the Lord God, and to his desires and fleshly desires the flesh of animals, birds, and fish for his food. Beyond the flesh of all that moves from living animals, the Lord God would extend the menu of man also to the “green grass”, whose food was before only the animals. This green herb was different from man’s first feeding Adam was the daily food consumed by all the animals of the earth and every bird of heaven: “He makes the herb grow for the animals, and the green for the service of man, that he may take away food from the earth. ” (Psalms 104:14).
Again the word demonstrates how righteous the Lord God is, and his wisdom extends so over all his creation. Just as man would feed on the flesh of animals, birds and fish this same animals fed on green grass, that is, the flesh of animals came from the transformation of green grass, nothing would be more just that even man himself would feed on the same food of animals, Here is expressed all the wisdom and justice of the Lord God. From Noah man Adam would have a new feeding experience that would be the green herb, the food that before the flood was only of the animals.
Experience with animal food would be so that man could understand and value the flesh of animals, and so balance and justice was complete. Man wanted flesh, nothing more just than eating the grass from which the flesh comes, is to balance nature itself, and to honor the wisdom and justice of the Lord God daily with nourishment of the body and soul offered in abundance since the creation of food.
