When we seek knowledge in the word, and in faith we seek the face of the Lord God the Holy Spirit of the Lord comes to dwell in our soul. And when with sincerity in our hearts we accept the truth our human spirit (heart) opens to the knowledge of the word. This gesture of sincerity in our lives rejoices the heart of the Lord God.

The ancient patriarchs, twenty-three generations, many of which are described in this book, are examples of this faith. Many of these patriarchal generations also became examples of these servants who sought to live sincerely in fear their way of life with the Lord God. These servants of the past in the early days of civilization understood the main truth of the Lord God's design. Salvation in Jesus Christ. All the patriarchs acknowledged that God exists and that the Lord is the rewarder of those seeking them, and his vast majority walked with the Lord as examples of Seth, Enos, Enoch and righteous Noah: “But without faith it is impossible; to please him; for he that approacheth God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him. ” (Hebrews 11:6).

With faith in their hearts and in the sincere and constant search for the Lord God, these patriarchs have become examples of life for the millennial generations described in the word of the Lord God. The time line of the graph below shows part of the long millenary period of these patriarchs: Graph.

What can we understand by the word rewarder? We will better understand what is rewarding by the apostles of the Lord Jesus. For it is only by the operation of the saving work that the Lord himself began and left for them that we can understand what is rewarding, see what the Lord Jesus said below. Understand, man. Adam who will only be able to receive the title of rewarder of those who seek the Lord God.

“ And he said to them, Go all over the world, preach the gospel to every creature... And the LORD, having spoken to them, was received into heaven, and sat at the right hand of God. And when they had departed, they preached everywhere, and cooperated with them, the Lord..." (Mark 16: 15, 19, 20a).

It is clear to explain and also better to understand that rewarder is the title that man receives from the Lord God to accomplish the work of Jesus. Only by carrying out the project to bring the word of salvation into the life of man Adam, “cooperative with them the Lord”As Jesus said, someone can receive reward. It seems strange and hard to talk like this, but this is how the Lord God works in the lives of the chosen, and it is the truth. And here is the necessary understanding of those who receive the reward from God. Man Adam without Jesus is nothing, man is dust, and to dust he will return: “And the LORD God formed man out of the dust of the earth, and breathed in his nose the breath of life: and the man was made a living soul. ” (Genesis 2: 7).

Man Adam has a soul within a body with life, but he also has within this body a spirit of his own, and this spirit has received free will in seeking the truth to advance in the search for truth, and in order to attain faith with it, and when this happens the Lord God works. This is what happened most of the time with these patriarchal generations shown in this chart, they became instruments in the hands of the Lord God and received their reward, and these twenty-four patriarchal generations were the forerunners of the continuity of life and of man's existence to our day.

The main patriarchal figures involved and described in this book, and which are shown in the graph, can also give us an idea of what is being described in relation to the divine principles of Jesus that involve salvation by feeding the body and soul.

The main thing is that in most of these patriarchs there was obedience to the Lord God's plan for salvation in relation to the obedience of the body and soul feeding. In one way or another the Lord God has always operated also for food obedience in the lives of all these patriarchs. Man Adam was created in dependence on food, but the food of the body and the soul as it is taught by the word of the Lord God, and as it is widely reported in this book.

Adam lived as described in the word nine hundred and thirty years: “And it was all the days that Adam lived, nine hundred and thirty years; and he died. ” (Genesis 5:5). So Adam lived much of the period in which human degradation occurred and which preceded the flood. We must observe by the word that Noah was born of Adam's tenth patriarchal generation as the word relates, read Genesis 5:3-29.

Noah was the forerunner of the Lord God for the occurrence of the flood that condemned the world that was literally taken over by the desires of the flesh, which occurred both with flesh and sex, and in these two senses widely. Noah's birth was one thousand and fifty-six years after the creation of Adam. For this long period it is clear that obedience to the word of the Lord has always been set aside: “And God saw the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt: for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth. ” (Genesis 6: 12).

Man's condemnation of the earth was only a matter of time. The birth of righteous Noah, the tenth patriarch, in the succession line of those who walked with God, was a prophecy that was confirmed by the word of God: "And he called his name Noah, saying, He will comfort us concerning our works and the work of our hands, because of the land which the Lord cursed. ” (Genesis 5: 29).

At the age of five hundred years, righteous Noah received the word of the LORD for the construction of the ark: “And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth." (Genesis 5: 32). And it was at this age that he begat his three sons, as he mentions the word, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. The word does not relate the birth of any other son to Noah after the three sons of Noah were born during the construction of the ark, and neither did Noah have children after the flood.

The patriarch Noah was born and lived in a period of six hundred years before the flood, five hundred years of a life in which he walked daily with the Lord God: “... Noah walked with God” (Genesis 6:9c), this walk of Noah was in constant fellowship being a farmer, before the flood and after as we see in the word: “And Noah began to be a farmer of the earth, and he planted a vineyard. ” (Genesis 9: 20). Naturally. Noah feeding on grain took away his energy and strength from these foods during the construction of the ark, and with fear sacrificed the sacrifice that pleased the Lord God: "And Noah built an altar unto the Lord... and offered burnt offerings upon the altar. And the Lord smelled the sweet smell...” (Genesis 8: 20a,c;21).

The sacrifice of the burnt offering made by Noah by leaving the ark in the year (1656) one thousand six hundred and fifty-six after the creation of man Adam is the same sacrifice that Lord God directed to the first man Adam after sin. It was the Lord God who sacrificed and shed the blood of the first animal to clothe both Adam, read Genesis 3:23.

During the construction of the ark in the period of one hundred years preceding the flood, Noah taught his children to grow grain for the family's food, and taught how the Lord received the perfect sacrifice, that is, the burnt offering to the Lord God. Noah in all things pleased the Lord God, and his children learned from a young age during the time of the construction of the ark, and the three remained as their father Noah in this understanding in obedience, and were not defiled with the world.

After the flood Noah still lived three hundred and fifty years: “And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years, and he died. ” (Genesis 9: 29).

Noah's descendants according to the word of the Lord were the forerunners of all mankind that would come to our day, and from the offspring of Shem the son of Noah read Genesis 11:10-26, Abraham, the twentieth patriarch who became the forerunner of the nation of Israel, was to be born.

From the dates of the births of the nine patriarchs after the flood that preceded the birth of Abram we can see by the sum that two hundred ninety-two years after the flood, that is, in the tenth generation after the patriarch Noah was born Abram. A very important fact is that all generations after the flood had children quickly, except with Abram’s father. He had his son at the age of seventy: "and lived And he shall be seventy years old, and begat Abram. ..” (Genesis 11: 26). This fact is nothing, for it is nothing in the word of the Lord Yahweh. These seventy years needed to be completed for the time of perfection, and from the remoteness of Terah from his father Nahor, for he served other gods together with his sons, and among them You will.

This delay in the birth of the patriarch in Abram, in him God had a special purpose to bring man back to meet him. So it is very likely that the old patriarch Noah had many encounters with young Abram, for Abram never even met his grandfather Nahor, for he died when he was only twenty years old, here we noticed a separation between the grandfather NOOR who lived 148 years old and the grandson Abram. The word does not mention this historical fact of the encounters of Noah and Abram, but it would not be impossible, though Noah was of the tenth generation, and Abram of the twentieth generation of Adam. But Abram was the age of (58) fifty-eight when Noah passed away.

In this passage of time of the generations patriarchs from the tenth to the twentieth we can see that the word of the Lord God has been fulfilled. In this period there is a reduction in the age of man Adam. This occurrence was determined by the word of the Lord God, for only thus would it be possible to continue and work and spread man Adam on the face of the whole earth. This was the word given to Noah when he came out of the ark when he received the Lord's blessing for its fruitfulness and multiplication, and to fill the earth, read Genesis 8: 17 and 9:1. And this blessing should become a fact for that man who sought from the heart to live the teachings in obedience to the word of the Lord God. And of course this is not what happened to all these patriarchs, read Genesis 11: 1 to 9; but even so it was possible to reach Abram.

Here we have a purpose that is to demonstrate the connection of life between obedient and righteous Noah, descended from Adam, Seth, Enosh, and Enoch. We want to demonstrate in your son's offspring Shem, that Noah was the forerunner of the genealogy from which Abram was born (292) years after the flood. In this line of time there were nine (9) patriarchs before Abram's birth, and we don't really need to know if there was a meeting between Noah and Abram, which is highly likely to have occurred, for it was Abram of the age of (58) fifty-eight years when patriarch Noah died: “ And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. ” (Genesis 9: 28).

This encounter is very likely to occur, for the fear of Abram comes from the knowledge of the experiences of Noah's life with the Lord God. And in addition, the ages of birth and death confer, and would give time for a deep learning of Abram. Moreover, who would not have wanted to know the righteous Noah builder of the ark divinely revealed by the Lord God. But it is important for us to know that Abram knew he was a direct descendant of Noah. He also knew the history and fear of Noah by the Lord God and his design of the ark and salvation operated by the Lord in this family, and all the other acts that were operated by the Lord God in the life of the patriarch and righteous Noah.

The call of Abram occurred in Ur of the Chaldeans from which he went out with his father to Haran:

"And Abram took his son, and Lot the son of Haran the son of his son, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, Abram's son's wife, and went out with them from Ur of the Chaldeans to go into the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran, and dwelt there. And the days of He shall be two hundred and five years old: and He shall die in Haran.” (Genesis 11: 31,32).

Abram became patriarch before his divine pilgrimage to Canaan only after his father's death It will have while they were still living in the land of Haran, north of Mesopotamia, southeast of present - day Turkey.

The first time when the Lord God appeared to Abraham in Genesis 12:1, Abraham lived with his father He shall have in Ur of the Chaldeans, and all served other gods: “... Thus saith the LORD God of Israel: From the river your fathers once dwelt, and Abraham's father and Nacor's father, and served other gods. ” (Joshua 24:2b). How difficult it was and weighed in the heart of the Lord God is worship of other gods. God who knows human hearts found a fearsome man, and this was Abram, and he was really a fearer, and of this there is no doubt, for he believed in the Lord God: “And he believed in Yahweh, and this was reckoned to him by righteousness. ” (Genesis 15:16)

For us to understand the importance of this word and understand the whole truth, we must proceed with the following reasoning. Abram was not yet the patriarch of the family, this patriarch was his father Tera. We see in this biblical passage a very great obedience and resolution in relation to the divine call of Abram, but also of obedience to his father.

Abram he obeyed his father There will be in everything, so much that “served other gods”But insisted on his leaving Ur from the Chaldeans. So much was his insistence that there was no way to separate them, so Genesis 11: 31 reports that it was his father He must have taken Abram and Lot and his wives and gone out of Ur from the Chaldeans, for he There will be the chief, that is, the patriarch of the family. And here is the foundation of the word of the Lord God. By his divine will the patriarchal line comes to be fulfilled only in Abram and not in Terah, his father, for it is also what the young Stephen, the first martyr of the Lord Jesus, reports: “ And he said, Brothers and fathers, I heard. (Acts 7: 2a).

"The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham, being in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran, and said to him, Get out of your land and out of your family, and go to the land that I show you. And he came out of the land of the Chaldeans, and dwelt in Haran. And from there, after his father died, God brought him to this land where you now dwell.” (Acts 7: 2b, 3.4).

Abram the chosen of God was visited by Jesus, “The God of glory”In Ur of the Chaldeans. And so he became the patriarch of the project that the Lord God would make with the nation of Israel that would come from his loins. This nation should be the example that the Lord God wants of man Adam in his presence to achieve salvation by feeding the body and soul by the divine principles of Jesus who would be born as a man. Jesus. “The God of glory”Christ was born two thousand and one hundred years after the covenant of the Lord God with Abraham. Jesus becomes the Christ of the cross, the Messiah the Savior of mankind:

"And it came to pass in those days that a decree came forth from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be enlisted. And Joseph went up from Galilee out of the city of Nazareth to Judea, into the city of David, called Bethlehem (for he was of the house and family of David), to enlist with Mary his wife, who was pregnant. And it came to pass, when they were there, that the days when she was to give birth were fulfilled. ” (Luke 2: 1, 4, 5, 6).

Nineteen went to the families of the patriarchal generations before the patriarch Abram, and all out of fear of the Lord God were used for the continuation of the plan of the Lord God, which culminated in the birth of Jesus, “The God of Glory”, through the nation chosen by the Lord God the people of Israel, being descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and last Judah and Joseph. The patriarchals will be examples used for the continuity of the understanding of the diet of the body and the soul.
