May we ask ourselves, was the path taken by the Lord Jesus easy for Him? The answer to this question is no, it wasn't easy.
It may seem strange to say it wasn't easy. But we must not forget that the Lord Jesus was born a man like us. The proof of his virginal birth has already been reported demonstrating his human life as a man, and therefore Jesus as we had his needs as ours.

Jesus as a man was born holy, and to keep himself in a life of sanctification and fulfill the plan of salvation of man Adam, he had to pass through the cross of holy and immaculate calvary. Jesus and his Father, before their virgin birth in eternity, and even before the Lord God created the time to insert man into it, they made an eternal covenant: "Just as you have sent me into the world,...that they may see my glory which you have given me: for you have loved me before the creation of the world. ” (John 17: 18a, 24b).

This ideal of Jesus to leave his glory to save man Adam, his Eternal Father knew with unimaginable depth for us men Adam, that is, our salvation as man Adam. But this does not mean saying that this would make Jesus' life easy, otherwise it became much more difficult, for being holy did not mean that it could not fall, we have the example of all of us Adam. Jesus to attain the divine purpose of the Lord maintained a pure life and sanctification: “And by them I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified in the truth. ” (John 17: 19). Jesus always depends on his Father and we will understand this through examples of your walk.
Jesus' journey in his ministry has countless passages of deep teachings. Let us approach some so that we can understand how Jesus lived. And by his sanctification we see the power and depth of his word by an example in this passage through Bethany: “... As it was late, he left for Bethany with the twelve.” (Mark 11: 11b). “(Now Bethany distanced almost fifteen stadiums from Jerusalem.)” (John 11: 18). This distance is equivalent to about three (three) km, and Jesus remained with the twelve in Bethany that night.

So Jesus walked many of these walks daily with great willingness to fulfill his Father’s plan to save Adam. But HE as a man had need of food to supply his energies, for he was like one of us, and so also when they left that morning in Bethany.

“And the next day, when they came out of Bethany, he was hungry, and when he saw a fig tree that had leaves from afar, he went to see if he would find anything in it; and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was no time for figs. And Jesus, speaking, said to the fig tree, Don't ever eat any fruit from you again. And his disciples heard this. ” (Mark 11: 12,13,14).

This morning and at this moment the Lord Jesus would bring three very specific teachings to his disciples on what man's dependence on the nourishment of body and soul should be. First and especially at that time would teach about the authority of his word. This authority that must serve as a mirror to us today, and are to bring us today understanding of how we must depend on the precious teachings of the word of the Lord God in relation to food.

We all know that we are experiencing a moment of great transformation by the globalization of humanity which is in a state of ever-increasing technological change. No nation or government, or human being can follow these changes any longer. And this is increasingly significant also in the changes in food, which has been occurring as a strong transformation since the industrial revolution in the mid-18th century.
