And the third teaching, the word of the Lord Jesus is authority over all creation: “... All power is given to me in heaven and earth. ” ( Matthew 28: 18b). The disciples who walked with the Lord Jesus each day learned more about the authority of this word, and so it should be with us also after we know the Lord Jesus, we must grasp to create dependence on his word and this is a process in our lives, just as it was in the lives of the disciples who followed him because we see:
“And as he entered into the boat, his disciples followed them; And, behold, a storm arose in the sea, so great that the ship was covered by the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, saying, Lord, save us, we perish. And he said to them, Why do you fear, men of little faith? And he rose up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there followed a great calm. And they marveled, saying, What man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him? ” (Matthew 8:23-27).
The two distinct moments of Jesus showed; and at both times both in the fig tree and in the boat reveal the authority that was in his words. Jesus came to bring peace in our lives, and wants us to follow him in the boat with Him, "And when he entered into the ship, his disciples followed them." All of us can follow Jesus in the boat, and reach peace in a world troubled by the “winds and the sea”, the storm comes but does not enter the boat can cover with waves but stays out, so it is with the welfare of man in the project of salvation by feeding the body and the soul, because they are intimately related, but seeking them is free will of every man, make your decision with the knowledge of the word of the Lord Jesus.
The Lord Jesus did not come to destroy the creation of his Father, but to care for and rescue mankind, and the chief of his creation, man Adam, for his salvation, and deliver him from sin and death. “And seeing from afar a fig tree that had leaves," this fig tree had leaves but there was no fruit in it, it was unproductive, “ I will surely take them, saith the LORD; there are no grapes in the vine, nor figs in the fig tree, and the leaf fell: ...” (Jeremiah 8:13)
All were to have knowledge of this including his disciples, who fig tree with leaves should have figs, and on this occasion would be teaching with these words to his disciples, “And his disciples heard this. ” They were to understand that all the creation of the Lord God should walk according to his word, and be productive and produce in God's appointed time, this also included this fig tree for man's food, and the fig tree should bear fruit at the time determined by the seasons of the year.
And these words have value to us that we owe today, and now it is, to feed properly and produce and be productive at the moment determined by the Lord God and according to his word. When you receive this call and there has been and answer the voice of the Lord Jesus, and know the authority that is in his words, and with this call to understand his word, you can rest, for if you have heard the voice of the one who has authority, the Lord Jesus, this voice has loving love and salvation to offer, besides well-being to feed, you must begin to walk according to these guidelines and these words. You will understand that feeding is to produce, and it is to be in the design of the Lord God, and that it is the main way to be followed, and that it is through obedience to his word, and through it the results come, and that this word will bring a safe direction, and the best total dependence, and when you live thus all blessings mentioned above will occur in your life.
